Even when in 1923, we were burned out by the Great Kanto Earthquake that devastated Tokyo, our store was revived somehow.
However, in the middle of the Pacific War, Tokyo became the burnt ruins in Bombing of Tokyo by the United States Armed Forces of 1945, and Kobayashi who avoided a difficulty came back to his hometown, Mitaka, with very few tools.

From these days we started a wholesale business to meet booming demand for confectionery in the surrounding area.
We enlarged our warehouse by buying adjacent land, and employees has been increasing gradually.
1957 | The shop became cramped for space, and so we moved to another place in Mitaka city. |
Since our office in front of Mitaka station became too small, we acquired a wider company building. From this time, the mainstream of the business shifts to wholesale duties.
